Detention Rules

You are expected to read this rules packet upon your admission to detention. Questions will be answered at the rules meeting or by an individual appointment with a juvenile corrections officer (detention staff). Your privileges will be determined by how well you follow the rules outlined in this document. The first rule is do not deface, wrinkle, tear, or destroy this document.

The task of a juvenile corrections officer is to maintain security in the facility, take care of all juvenile resident's physical needs and to help juvenile residents to behave in a manner that will earn the resident the most privileges. Juvenile correction officers want to help you make your stay here as pleasant as possible but they can only do that if you are cooperative and willing to behave within the rules.
