2020 Primary Voter’s Pamphlet

Primary Election Sample Ballot - The Sample Ballot includes all races presented within the county. Only races you are entitled to vote upon will appear on your Official Ballot.

Ballots will be mailed to voters by July 14, 2020. If you don’t receive your ballot by July 24, 2020, please contact the Elections Office in order to receive a replacement.

You now have the option to check your ballot status after it has been sent! VoteWa allows you to view the status of your ballot, request a replacement,  and see when we’ve received your ballot. Just select ’Ballot Status’ under the tab ’My Ballot’.

Ballot return envelopes now include prepaid postage, so there’s no need to worry about a stamp. You can return your ballot through the mail, through a ballot drop box, or by dropping it off at the San Juan County Elections Office. It’s that easy!

Ballots must be postmarked by August 4, 2020 or returned to one of the ballot drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. It’s important that these deadlines are kept so that your vote is able to be counted.

Drop boxes will be open to receive ballots until 8:00 p.m., after which they will be closed and no new ballots will be accepted. You can view our Ballot Drop Boxes here.

We recommend dropping your ballot in one of our convenient drop box locations. If you choose to mail your ballot instead, we recommend mailing no later than the Friday prior to the election. Don’t be late! Mail early so that your ballot is postmarked by Election Day.
