Off Season

The islands are quieter during the off-season (October through April) and the weather can be delightful. Community events and activities are scheduled year around. Come enjoy the San Juans like the locals do! Enjoy more relaxed camping and reduced fees during winter, too. Park water systems will be shut down and some services November 1-March 31 (Fairgrounds water will remain on, weather permitting). Please plan to pack in in/pack it out.

Make Your Reservation

Visit our online reservation system and start planning your vacation today!

Please note that the online reservation system is closed from October 15 until the first Monday in March; all sites are on a first-come, first-served basis at the campground during that time. Enjoy your winter!
RV Camping at Fairgrounds

Important Information for RV Campers

For San Juan Park, Odlin Park, and the County Fairgrounds, one RV or trailer per campsite is allowed. One towing or towed vehicle is allowed in a campsite with trailer or RV at no additional charge (when site space allows), see below for size limits. RV's and trailers are not advisable at Shaw County Park.

RV and trailer space is limited at the County Park campgrounds and may require special advance arrangements. RV's are not allowed in some sites. If you plan to bring an RV, you must select a suitable site when you make your reservation, no hook-ups are available (partial hook-ups available at Fairgrounds). Unfortunately, oversize RV’s/campers/trailers will be refused a campsite. If you have an oversize vehicle, please consider the County Fairgrounds for your RV stay on San Juan Island.
