The Human Services Division provides administration and oversight of the mental health and substance use (i.e. behavioral health) treatment and prevention, and developmental disabilities programs provided by the county. We believe that behavioral health and wellness are integral components of healthy communities. We work collaboratively with a number of local, regional, state, and federal partners, both public and private, to identify resources and help coordinate and/or deliver a number of treatment and prevention services. We are committed to helping to improve access to care and developing recovery-oriented systems of care as resources allow. Throughout all of our activities, we strive to promote community inclusion and dignity and respect for all of our citizens.
