Visiting a County Park? 6' is what it takes

While we recognize that being outdoors in nature is one of the best ways to spend our free time, right now, this takes some special care. At this time, group activities are prohibited, and park users must engage in social distancing. This means keeping at least 6' from non-household members. By order of the San Juan County Health Officer, these restrictions are in place until at least May 30 and may be modified at any time. We recommend you bring hand sanitizer and TP, if you choose to visit. Leave No Trace has some good advice for outdoor recreating responsibly at https://lnt.org/the-leave-no-trace-recommendations-for-getting-outside-amidst-covid-19/. You can find more information on COVID-19 at: https://www.doh.wa.gov/Emergencies/Coronavirus. Here are some great reminders about face masks from our State Health Department - https://medium.com/wadepthealth/cloth-face-coverings-6f083b366fab

At this time, most County Park restrooms are closed. Please plan ahead!
