This is a "local adoption" that will not become effective until it is adopted by the Washington State Department of Ecology. The next step in this process is submittal of the locally adopted update and supporting documentation to the Department of Ecology.

As noted above, the locally adopted SMP does not become effective until reviewed and adopted by the Department of Ecology. Ecology’s review process will include a public comment period during which time you may submit comments to the WDOE.
